Marching Band Open House – This Tuesday, June 2nd from 6:00p-8:00pm. Students and parents are to report to the auditorium at 6:00pm. Veteran parents are strongly encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity to meet incoming parents and share your Marching Band experiences with those who are considering participation!  Refreshments will be served at 8:00pm in the new Senior Cafeteria (Room 902/904). Every member will receive a current Student Account Statement at Open House on June 2nd so that you will know what the current balance/credit on the account is. Any current credits may be used toward your $100 deposit.

 

To be able to participate in the 2015 Fall Marching Band, member's previous season Student Account must be paid in FULL by June 1st.  Any questions or concerns please contact Jim Dumas jdumas@liverpool.k12.ny.us

 

Marching Band Show Shoes -  If your show shoes no longer fit or if your LHS marching days are over, please consider donating.  The Uniform Committee will be accepting gently worn shoes donations at open house.  Please look for the return box in the lobby.

 

Calling all Parents!!!

We are looking for volunteers to be “Booster Buddies". A Booster Buddy is a veteran parent that will be teamed up with a new parent in their section to help answer any questions that they may have. Kristie Roeder is chairing this program. Please contact her at tkroeder94@gmail.com if you would like to participate.

LHSMBB Concession Stand at Carrier Dome Additional Signup Method - We will be launching a new easy to use website for signing up to work the Dome in the next few weeks! We will send out a special email as well as have links up on both the website and the Facebook page.  You will still be able to sign up to work the Dome by using the book, as in previous years.  Remember you can work the dome to add money to your student account for the upcoming fall and winter programs.

Band Camp 2015   

Band Camp for the 2015 Marching season is set for the week of August 10th-14th.  Please keep these dates in mind when planning your summer travel plans.  Band Camp is MANDATORY for all who plan to march in the upcoming season!!!

The LHSMBB is a volunteer organization!  Volunteers are needed to chair events throughout the season.  Please contact Joan Mashayekhi at a-mash@verizon.net if you would like to step up to chair, co-chair or shadow an event.

 

DON'T FORGET!!  You can also add to your student account during the season and in the off season by bringing your returnable bottles to MSK Bottles & Cans on Route 57.

Let them know that deposited refunds are to be applied against your member's account or you can have the monies applied to the general fund!

 

The Boosters are you!

 

Boosters Club membership is open to all parents and legal guardians of current LHS Marching Band, Winter Guard & Percussion Ensemble Members.

 

The Boosters is simply an organization consisting of parents, guardians, and current Band/Guard members who would like to participate in the direction of the Liverpool Marching Warriors.

 

It is the goal of the Booster organization to support the Marching Band Fall & Winter Programs; to develop and carry out fundraising and other projects which assist with keeping actual out of pocket costs as low as possible and to help promote the Marching Band Fall & Winter programs within the school district and the greater community

 

The success of the program depends greatly on the efforts of volunteer parents. There are many opportunities to pitch in and help the booster organization, and your help is definitely welcome and appreciated. You will find that the more involved you become in this activity, the more you appreciate what a great opportunity this is for these kids.
